Our EXPANSIA dryer range utilizes the principle of direct expansion refrigeration to efficiently dry the compressed air produced upstream in the network. Thanks to its efficient refrigeration system and our patented 3-in-1 heat exchanger, the drying of compressed air occurs through optimal counter-current heat exchange across the entire contact surface.

Our stainless steel plate heat exchanger consists of an air/air exchanger that ensures the pre-cooling of humid, water-saturated air, and an air/refrigerant fluid exchanger that cools the compressed air down to +3°C, thereby facilitating moisture removal through an integrated separator. This patented exchanger, developed in collaboration with leading global equipment manufacturers, ensures effective cooling regardless of incoming air conditions and ambient temperature, while also minimizing airflow resistance to a very low point, generating minimal pressure loss within the system.

3-in-1 Heat Exchanger

Composed of brazed plates made from stainless steel (AISI316), this heat exchanger ensures significant energy savings thanks to its economizer pre-exchanger, low pressure drop, and ultra-effective separator. Its brazed stainless steel plates prevent all forms of corrosion related to moisture, guaranteeing the longest lifespan on the market.

Refrigeration Circuit

The unit comes standard with all necessary safety features to prevent issues from improper use. These components are designed to protect the refrigerated air dryer while ensuring its proper operation, thereby sustaining the user's process.

Compressors

The hermetic refrigeration compressors (piston, rotary, Scroll) provide adequate cooling capacity to maintain the dew point under all circumstances, regardless of operating conditions.

Controller

Standard on all models, the controller is designed for the optimal operation of the dryer, featuring a dew point display, condensate purge management, and monitoring of the refrigeration circuit. Additionally, it reports all alarms and malfunctions as well as maintenance reminders.

Energy Savings

Starting from the H-DHR 1700, Expansia dryers are equipped with Digital Scroll compressors that adjust their cooling production based on the thermal load to be dissipated, enabling significant energy savings.

Limited Energy Costs

High-performance design through its 3-in-1 heat exchanger ensures an extremely low pressure drop of just 0.15 bar at nominal flow rate.

Plug and Play Product

The direct expansion refrigeration dryer is ready for use, with all components integrated directly, allowing for great ease of use. Expansia dryers are delivered with a power cable, enabling commissioning without the need to open the dryer.

Optimized Air Circulation

The fan, mounted directly in its own housing on the condenser, ensures optimal efficiency of the available cooling power, even at high ambient temperatures.

Unmatched Durability and Robustness

Its reinforced casing, coated in baked epoxy, ensures long-lasting performance even in the most corrosive and dusty environments. The high-efficiency condenser, equipped with robust fins and unobstructed airflow, allows for easy cleaning and exceptional longevity.

Simplified Maintenance

Easy access from the top and side panels of the unit enables optimal maintenance of the dryer. The refrigeration design of the Expansia dryers ensures direct access to all components. Technical diagnostics are facilitated by the presence of pressure ports within the refrigeration circuit and a low-pressure gauge located on the front.
